First admire the superb original panelling with
the four overdoors; the chandelier is reflected in the mirrors. The 18th century
drawing room was a place for conversation, reading and parlour-games.
The furniture includes several tables and chairs designed for games (loto or
"dolphin", brelan, backgammon, etc.) The card-playing automatons complete the
picture.
Lapdogs were also admitted here, and four remarkable contemporary dog-kennels
are displayed.
